{"id":631,"date":"2024-03-29T11:21:45","date_gmt":"2024-03-29T10:21:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/orgs.noblogs.org\/?p=631"},"modified":"2024-03-29T11:21:45","modified_gmt":"2024-03-29T10:21:45","slug":"metodo-dellassenso","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orgs.noblogs.org\/en-GB\/post\/2024\/03\/29\/metodo-dellassenso\/","title":{"rendered":"Metodo dell&#8217;assenso"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The consent method is a decision-making methodology often practiced within the sociocracy.<\/p>\n<p>can be confused with the consensus method, especially in English! since one is &#8220;consensus&#8221; and the other is &#8220;consent,&#8221; let&#8217;s see what it is.<\/p>\n<p>From a conversation with an italoablative group that uses it, they point out to us that:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; one of the main things is HOW you get to the proposals on which to decide<\/p>\n<p>Document, proposals creation<a href=\"https:\/\/orgs.noblogs.org\/files\/2024\/03\/Schermata-del-2024-03-29-10-59-28.png\">:<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/orgs.noblogs.org\/files\/2024\/03\/Schermata-del-2024-03-29-11-19-55.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-633\" src=\"https:\/\/orgs.noblogs.org\/files\/2024\/03\/Schermata-del-2024-03-29-11-19-55.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"873\" height=\"618\" srcset=\"https:\/\/orgs.noblogs.org\/files\/2024\/03\/Schermata-del-2024-03-29-11-19-55.png 873w, https:\/\/orgs.noblogs.org\/files\/2024\/03\/Schermata-del-2024-03-29-11-19-55-300x212.png 300w, https:\/\/orgs.noblogs.org\/files\/2024\/03\/Schermata-del-2024-03-29-11-19-55-768x544.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sociocracyforall.org\/meeting-posters\/\">https:\/\/www.sociocracyforall.org\/meeting-posters\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sociocracyforall.org\/meeting-posters\/\">https:\/\/www.sociocracyforall.org\/it\/risorse\/#schede<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The two key steps, are: gathering ideas and creating the proposal with implementation details, otherwise it is difficult to know if you have objections or not.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of decision, one wonders if there is CONSENT.<\/p>\n<p>OBJECTIONS should be carefully divided between:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; emotional\/personal objections, which should be taken up by the group and bridged, but are NOT blocking<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Objections that see a danger in putting the decision into practice.<\/p>\n<p>The latter are BLOCKING objections, which need to be taken up and integrated into the proposal, to resubmit it and then make a new decision-making &#8220;round&#8221; and verify assent.<\/p>\n<p><em>The assent method is meant to mitigate the difficulty of always having to reach unanimity, which is a difficult practice and for homogeneous groups; and it takes care not to have a disgruntled minority, as in democracy.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In this it is very similar to the consensus method.<\/p>\n<p>In implementing any decision, however, it is very important to remember to VALUE people&#8217;s work, and not reduce oneself to mere slaves to the group&#8217;s decision.<\/p>\n<p>Example of a meeting:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>first you check all ASPECTS (practical, ideological, fiscal, administrative, technical, &#8230;)by free speech, and after the DETAILS and reflections, again by free speech to gather all OPINIONS<\/li>\n<li>in 3 or 4 people, gathered all the material, come up with the PROPOSAL<\/li>\n<li>DECISION on the proposal is proposed to reach as unanimous a result as possible, with this sequence:\n<ol>\n<li>QUESTIONS about the details<\/li>\n<li>EMOTIONAL hot reactions<\/li>\n<li>CONSENT, if no one adds anything the proposal passes, if there are blocking objections, we start again to reformulate the proposal<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Critical to arriving at the decision is that ALL DATA have been collected, because decisions cannot be made without the necessary information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The consent method is a decision-making methodology often practiced within the sociocracy. can be confused with the consensus method, especially in English! since one is &#8220;consensus&#8221; and the other is &#8220;consent,&#8221; let&#8217;s see what it is.
